Mustaqbil’s Student Sponsorship program identifies students who are unable to go to school due to financial difficulties.
We support these students by covering their tuition fee, as well as other expenses such as uniforms and supplies, transport (for female students),
and hostel fees for our university students.
December 16th, 2014 was perhaps the darkest days in Pakistan's history. Taliban gunmen stormed the Army Public School in Peshawar and mercilessly shot anyone in their sights.
The attack resulted in the deaths of almost 150 people, most of which were students. Since then, the Pakistani government and armed forces have been involved in a c
ontinuous armed battle against terrorists. But at the same time, another battle has to be fought. A battle of nation building that helps us in ensuring that teenagers are not
attracted to the murderous ideologies of such groups.
It was this realization that led to the creation of Mustaqbil Foundation.
OUR IMPACT SO FAR
We started our Student Sponsorship Program in April 2016 by enrolling 6 students. We increased that number to 16 students in 2017, and 22 students in 2018.
We hope to increase this number to 25 students by 2019.
To date, we have raised and disbursed over PKR:
We make a conscious effort to increase the number of female students as we strongly believe that educating a girl means educating a nation.
We do this by actively engaging with parents of these girls and try to convince them of them benefits of educating their daughters.
We are proud of the fact that 14 out of our 22 students are female.
